Rotfront Konzert im Kaffee Burger

Am 21.1. habe ich mit meinem Vater Rotfront im Kaffee Burger gesehen. Ich will diese Band so gerne gut finden, ich liebe dieses Lied, ich könnte mit der Musik viel Spaß haben. Aber es gibt so viele Dinge in den Texten, die einfach zu doof sind, und um jetzt nicht in eine längere Abhandlung abzudriften nur ein Beispiel: "Berlin–Barcelona" ist nüchtern betrachtet schlicht eine Hymne auf transnationales Stalking. Der Typ kriegt eine Abfuhr und verfolgt die Frau trotzdem von Berlin nach Barcelona, und fühlt sich dadurch nicht mehr so "small and helpless." Er ist nicht in der Lage "Lass mich allein!" zu akzeptieren, wir sollen auch noch mitsingen, und die ganze möchtegern linke Mitte Meute im Kaffee Burger geht dazu tatsächlich ab. Ich könnte kotzen.

I went to see Rotfront at Kaffee Burger with my dad in January. I would love to like this band, I love this song, I could have so much fun to this music. But there are just too many things about the lyrics that suck too badly. Without starting a long winded account of all of them just one example: "Berlin–Barcelona" boils down to a hymn to transnational stalking. A guy gets a no but pursues the woman anyway from Berlin to Barcelona, and feels less "small and helpless" in the process. He can't accept her "Leave me alone!" and we're supposed to sing along to it, and the hipster audience at Kaffee Burger does exactly that. Makes me wanna puke.
